Dawn Powell

After a prolonged and valiant battle, Dawn Powell passed peacefully on April 1, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Vance Powell, DO, three beautiful children Daylin, Casey and Katie, two step children Vance III (Karen) and Shannon (Joseph), four grandchildren James, Gideon, Ethan and Athan, seven loving brothers and sisters Bill (Geri), Dan (Suzette), Wayne (Lee), Debra (Michael), Pattie, Valarie (Kevin)and Vicki (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was truly one of God's angels and we were all blessed to have her in our lives.

Friends may visit Dawn's family on Wednesday April 4, 2012 and Thursday April 5, 2012 from 5-9 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile, Livonia, Michigan 48152. The funeral home is located on the north side of W. Six Mile Road, east of I-275 and Newburgh Road.

Funeral services for Dawn will be Friday April 6, 2012 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 27475 W. Five Mile, Livonia Michigan 48154. She will lie in state at 10 am until her funeral service officiated by Pastor Paul Stunkel at 11 am. The church is located on the south side of Five Mile and west of Inkster Road. A meal will be hosted in her honor at the church at the conclusion of her funeral ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, Dawn's family asks that memorials may be made in her honor to the Botsford Foundation.
