Denise Ann Falzon

Denise Ann Falzon, age 74, of Northville, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on September 4, 2026. She was born on June 30, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to Frederick and Thelma (German) Weinsheimer.

Denise’s life was defined by love, family, and the simple joys of being present for the people she cherished most. She met her husband, David, when they were children in kindergarten. Having grown up just a block apart and remained neighbors throughout their lives, their friendship grew into a lifelong love. They were married on October 6, 1973, and shared more than five decades together.

Denise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She treasured time with her family and especially loved being a grandmother. Her grandchildren, Nolan, Dylan, Charlie, and Anna, brought her immense joy, and she loved being present for the important moments, as well as the everyday ones. She was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved.

Denise took great pride in her home and genuinely enjoyed caring for it. Cleaning, organizing, and keeping everything in its place were never chores to her, they were things she truly enjoyed. Her home reflected the care and thoughtfulness she brought to all that she did.

Some of Denise’s fondest memories were made in Thessalon, Ontario, where her family had owned property on Basswood Lake throughout her entire life. It was more than a vacation destination; it was “her place,” a place filled with generations of family memories, peaceful moments, and countless experiences she treasured.

Denise will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David Falzon; her children, David (Sarah) Falzon and Christine (Wes) Yarnell; her grandchildren, Nolan, Dylan, Charlie, and Anna; and her brother, Jerry (Beth) Weinsheimer. She was also a beloved aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, friend, and coworker to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Thelma (German) Weinsheimer, and her brother, Gary.

A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:30 am on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 N Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170. Denise’s family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again at Church on Friday from 10:30 am until the time of the Mass at 11:30 am. In accordance with Denise’s wishes, cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider contributions in Denise’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
