Dolores was the loving wife of the late Edward Malysz for 45 years; beloved mother of Carl (Sheila) Malysz, Corinne (Walter) Michalski, Camille (Steve) Radosevich, Christopher Malysz, Curtis (Kristen) Malysz; nine Grandchildren, and seven Great Grandchildren.
Dolores was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Aidan Church for 45 years, after their move to Livonia in 1974. She volunteered her time and was a member of the St. Aidan’s Women’s Guild, the 200 Club, and the Baptism Committee for many years. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and also the P.L.A.V. making homemade pierogi twice a year. She was a fantastic cook and her memory will live on in the recipes she shared with her children and grandchildren. She was the daughter of Polish immigrants and embraced the importance of sharing her heritage with her family. She always made sure to celebrate the Polish customs, especially the Wigilia on Christmas Eve, so that even her grandchildren would carry on with the Polish traditions. She will be remembered as a kind and generous woman helping and giving whenever she could.
Dolores was the devoted daughter of the late Ignacy and Mary (Gongola) Blazejewski. She was born in their family home in Detroit, and was the eleventh of 12 children, all of whom predeceased her in life.
