Dear Friends,
I am so grateful to have had Don in my life for close to 60 years. We met when we were 15 and 16 years old. Our 50 years of marriage were full of love, laughter, and adventures. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Thank you for your kind words.

Dear Helen,
I am sorry to hear of Don's passing.  I have many happy memories of spending time with your family at old car swap meets helping with concessions, taking overnight trips with the car club or just visiting at your home. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughters.

Don and I were friends when we both attended Glebe CI. I lived by Dow's lake and Don of course near Hopewell Ave. PS.  We were both motor cycle fans like so many at Glebe.  I bought a bike from Don, and on the Saturday it was to be handed over he called me and said he had demolished it on the corner of Carling and Bronson Avenues.  A big disappointment and led me to buy a car my parents felt was safer!.  Don's aunt and my mother were good friends.

I remember Don well after so  many years and extend to you and your family my deepest sympathy on your loss.

Dear Helen and family:  I am so sad to hear that  cousin Donnie has passed away.  I was so happy and surprised  to see him in Ottawa 10 years ago at my Mother's funeral.  It has also always been a highlight of the Christmas cards to get Don's "Armstrong" update and the photos of your beautiful family. Please accept our deepest sympathies.  What a wonderful legacy you have left your children in keeping a healthy marriage going for 50 years!  I was just thinking of Don a few weeks ago when I was at the Carleton University Orientation for our youngest daughter and we passed the Engineering Building.  Take care all of you. I Was so saddened to hear of Don-Z's Passing. My years of association with Don as a fellow member of the American Outboard Club were so pleasant because of his enthusiastic approach to all aspects of life. I will miss him greatly and not soon forget his contribution to my life as a fellow collector.

Helen, it was such a shock when I opened my e-mail to find your note about Don.  Lynn and I are so sorry to hear of his passing.  You two had such a nice life.  We really enjoyed getting your Christmas letter complete with family picture every year.  Take care of yourself and your family.
