Edward was a proud WWII veteran. He served in the United States Army from 1941-1945. While with the Army Edward earned several honors including a purple heart. Following the war Edward returned home and worked for Ford Motor Company for 34 years before his retirement.
A devote Christian, Edward was a charter member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Livonia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Edward was an avid coin collector and gardener. He also had a passion for food from cooking various dishes to baking tasty treats.
Edward was the loving husband of Betty for 58 years. Cherished father of Mark, Todd (Kathy) and Sharon.
Edward's family will receive friends on Thursday November 1, 2012 from 3-9 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.
Edward will lie in state on Friday from 10 am until the time Service 11 am at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 14175 Farmington Rd. (South of 5 Mile Rd.) in Livonia.
In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.
