He was the beloved husband of Nancy and former husband of the late Patricia who passed away in 1981. Loving father of Kelly (Steve) Taulbee, and Joe. Stepfather of Todd (Amy) Gronowski, and Tom (Lita) McDonald. Step-grandfather of Anna & Emma Gronowski and Keegan & Riley McDonald.
Edward was a proud United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and received several medals. He then had a happy and successful career at Ford Motor Company and retired after 38 years.
Edward enjoyed going to the casino and watching football; especially Michigan State University and Green Bay. He loved salmon fishing on Lake Huron and spending time at the family cottage on Mullet Lake. He had a warm heart and a contagious smile and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Edward's family will receive guests for a memorial gathering on Thursday, January 6, 2022 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.
Edward's life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 5:00 PM. The service will be led by Father Tom Belczak of St. Kenneth Catholic Church, Plymouth, Michigan.
The service will conclude with military honors presented by the United States Army Funeral Honors Team.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mullet Lake Preservation Society, or to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
