Obituary of Emily M. Buchan
Emily M. Buchan was born on September 26, 1982 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Emily passed away on January 18, 2023. Beloved daughter of Gail (Jerome) Majetic and the late Michael Buchan. Loving sister of Julie (James) Lowder. Dearest aunt of Vivian and Cameron Lowder. Cherished niece of many aunts, uncles and cousin to many. Emily was very artistic and crafty. She enjoyed taking long walks on nature trails and especially spent a lot of time admiring the beauty of the trees and gardens of Greenmead Historical Park in Livonia. She enjoyed taking pictures of nature and all the beauty around her. She was a proud graduate of Michigan State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Merchandise Management. Emily will be deeply missed. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Greenmead Historical Park : 20501 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48152. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Buchan family.
