Erminia Margaret Pavia

Joined her beloved husband in heaven during the early morning hours of June 13, 2018. Margaret was born in Hamrun, Malta on December 29, 1918. In 1920, in 1920 her father emigrated from Malta to the United States leaving his wife and children in Malta. 9 years later Margaret’s family was reunited in the USA. On July 1, 1937 she married Joseph Pavia in Detroit, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, brother Alfred, and her parents Elisabetta (Borg) and Emanuel Ignatius Diedo. She is survived by her brother Ed Diedo and her children Frank (Bobbie) and Ray (Karen) Pavia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Frank, Brian, Lisa (Jeff) Nieman, Craig (Marisa) and Karen (Fernando) Gardoni, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved and she will be missed.

Visitation Sunday 3-8 pm with a scripture service at 7 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Rd. in Livonia. Funeral Monday, in state 9 am until the time of Mass at 9:30 am at St. Aidan Catholic Church 17500 Farmington Rd. in Livonia.
