Eva May Karfonta

Eva was a loving mother of 9 children. Some of her favorite activities were hosting barbecues at family gatherings. She travelled with her husband to multiple Michigan cabins and campgrounds to go fishing. She liked bowling, playing cards and Scrabble. Eva also enjoyed going to the casino with her daughters and sister Margaret, but most of all she loved being with her family.

Eva is survived by children: Diane Hay, Patricia Marchese, Mary Farwell, Nancy Anderson, Janet Karfonta, Richard Karfonta, and David Karfonta,15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister Joan White. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Michael Karfonta, son Michael Karfonta, daughter JoAnn Haynes and siblings Willard Jerore, Johnnie Jerore, Archie Jerore, George Jerore, Clara Ricketts, Margaret Rich and Ruby Brewis.

A visitation for Eva will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 3pm-7pm with committal prayers at 7pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Livonia. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
