She was the beloved wife of William (Bill) Orlando, loving mother of Andrew Orlando of Cordelia, California and Amy (Mauro) Petrucci of Novi, Michigan, cherished grandmother of Nicolas, Christina, Dominic and Jack. Evelyn was predeceased by her dear husband Bill, her parents Malcom and Alda Davison, and many loved ones.
Evelyn was the only child born to Malcom and Alda Davison in Conneaut Ohio on August 7, 1932. She moved to Detroit Michigan in 1956 where she met her husband Bill while working in the Fisher Building. They were married April 20, 1957. After raising her family, Evelyn worked as an administrative assistant at Ward Presbyterian Church in Livonia for over 30 years. She also served as a deacon for several years. Evelyn and Bill enjoyed life together! They traveled and spent lots of time with family and friends. Florida was a special place for them through the winter months, as they both loved the outdoors, especially the beach and ocean. Her greatest joy in her later years was spending time with her four grandchildren. She was a woman of great faith, always looking at the positive side of things, praying, and knowing that God will take care of everything. And now, we have a very special angel watching over us.
A visitation for Evelyn will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral in state will occur Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 40000 W Six Mile Rd, Northville, Michigan 48168 with a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
