Franco Canzano was born to Giovanni and Giuseppina Canzano, a store owner and homemaker, in Fossacesia, Italy on October 10, 1937. He was the eighth child of twelve brothers and sisters. As a young man, he possessed an artist’s detail to attention which he used to become a master carpenter second to none.
Known to many as “Uncle Frank”, Franco was always the skillful professional whose work was admired and respected by all. Franco was blessed with a large loving family. He married the love of his life, ( his “Masterpiece”) Norma, on June 12, 1965 in Detroit, MI. Franco took pride in working hard and being a strong provider. He taught his children, Carla, Silvia and Nicolas, the value and importance of hard work. He was a simple man, who loved his family and his home.
Franco was an artist at heart. It didn’t matter whether the job was big or small, he nevertheless did it with impeccable taste and craftsmanship.
He was a kind and honest man who loved all children. He had a passion for fishing while listening to music and smoking his cigarette. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
