Fredesvinda was a hardworking, loving and caring woman. While raising her family she also worked for many years as a seamstress, including making men's suits for Hughes and Hatcher where she was able to use her love for sewing at work.
She was also deeply religious. She was a regular volunteer at her church and was Vice President of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Her love for the Lord helped guide her though her daily life. She became a foster parent to children in need and throughout her life she continued to give and help those in need, especially her family who remained in Cuba.
During her free time Fredesvinda loved to enjoy the finer things in life. She was an avid fan of travel and loved adventure, but also enjoyed spending time at home where she would work on her large wonderful garden in the back yard. She spent many hours back there until it became so full and beautiful it resembled a jungle.
Fredesvinda was a wonderful, caring, and loved woman who will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to meet such an amazing woman.
