George proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for many years as an electrician at Ford Motor Company before retiring.
A man of deep faith, George was a devoted parishioner of St. Aidan Church and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. He found joy in simple pleasures, tending to his garden, golfing now and then, and especially cooking for those he loved. He was well known for his homemade pasta sauce and nut rolls, which became cherished family favorites.
George is survived by his loving son, Michael (Claudia); his sister, Ann (Eli) Obradovich; and many beloved nieces and nephews who will continue to cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eileen, and his siblings Joseph, Matthew, Pauline, Helen, and Michael.
George will be remembered for his dedication to family, faith, and service, and for the warmth and generosity he shared with all who knew him.
