I have to share one more!
This is my favorite picture of my Dad and Step Mom. We lived hours away but they came to every dance recital and play they could get to. This picture is from a local restaurant we often went to for the post-recital celebration.

This picture shows one of my favorite memories.
When I visited, my Dad would come to Ikea with me and the kids so that they could run around and get Swedish meatballs. For those that know my Dad, shopping was not his favorite activity, but he knew his grandkids loved going. We all miss you Dad.

Dad! Are you done messing around yet?!?!

I miss the days at Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho when you would clean your desk by putting your files on mine, and then yell back at me as you were leaving, "let me know when you are done messing around!" As if those files had been there for days. I could then hear you laughing through the wall. I miss your insightful advice, your sense of humor, and the uncanny way in which you made everyone feel comfortable regardless of the circumstances. I am glad that I paid close attention to every word you said, because now you will be with me forever. Rest in peace, Dad. Love you!

Rest in peace dad. I miss you very much. I am deeply sad that I cannot call you and get your happy Hello greeting on the phone.

You are with God now. I wish we had more time together to go out to eat and for you to spend time with Ryan and Sean.

You will live on through your children and grandchildren. Thank you for being a great father and grandfather.

Love always,
Nancy
