Geraldine Evelyn Micallef

Geraldine Evelyn Micallef passed away peacefully at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton, Michigan on August 27th, 2022, with her beloved husband, Charles, and son, Darryl, at her side. Geraldine was born on November 11th, 1936 in Highland Park, Michigan to Edwin and Evangeline Wepplo.

Geraldine married the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Micallef on October 7th, 1961. They were blessed with 6 children: Dale, Chuck, Darryl, Craig, Joseph, and Julia. Geraldine enjoyed careers with the United States Post Office and Oakwood Hospital. Although she worked as needed, her true passion was being at home, raising her children. Her favorite hobbies included antiques, crafts, and decorating her home. Geraldine was especially fond of large family gatherings and, of course, going to the casino.

Geraldine is survived by her husband, Charles, and 5 Sons: Dale (Mary), Chuck, Darryl (Lorelei), Craig (Julia), Joe (Holly), brother-in-law, Tony, her grandchildren: Amanda, Angela, Devin (Brittany), Stephanie, Darryl Jr. (Lauren), Kyle, Dylan, Mariah, Kara, Madison, Makenna, 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Geraldine was preceded in death by: Joseph S Micallef (Imogene), Louise Cebulski (Raymond), Frank Micallef (Florence), nephew, Larry Micallef, and her infant daughter, Julia.

Geraldine will always be remembered for her love of family and fiery spirit that served to strengthen anyone she met.

A visitation for Geraldine will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral in-state will occur Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
