I don’t know if you remember me but my name is Mike Costello. Gus and I were best friends at UM-D. I was trying to look Gus up to see if he wanted to get together and I came across this terrible news. I would like to extend my condolences to Michele and all of Gus’s family. Gus was an amazing person.  He had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. He was smart witty and kind. He was a loyal friend and I have thought of him often over the years. He touched my life and I will miss him as I am sure you all do. God bless you and God bless Gus

To the parents who raised such a wonderful hard working caring person we are so sorry ! He was are rock in the store ! To his wonderful wife who is so sad I will tell you so many times when he reached for a candy bar I would say stop and he would say you sound just like my wife ! Lol and would get that special smile ! I am a customer at rite aid because of him  and he was never to busy to say hello how you doing  ! My husband and I will miss him every time we go there ! The new guy said I never knew him but it will b hard to fill his shoes as people here loved him ! We wanted to send him candy and fruit Ollie said he just needs his family and to get better! That never happened and now we are here until we meet again! We are so sorry that he is gone god bless us all and especially him ! Hugs to all of his family michael and carol 

He was just the best! I will miss him so much , his big smile. A wonderful hard working pharmacists. He helped me always every time I came to rite aid . Would ask me how I was doing and he meant it. He took care of my family, when we had serious questions and made sure we had what we needed

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the Hanania family for the loss of Ghassan.  It has been many years since I saw him but I distinctly remember his warm smile and kind persona.  It was always a pleasure to see him.  

He most certainly made the world a warmer and better place.  May he Rest In Peace and may his memory be eternal.

My deepest condolences to the Hanania family. Gus and I were friends for many years.  Back in the day we felt like the dynamic duo of Arbor Drugs, in reality we were just kids carving out our futures. He and I hit the “sweet spot” of the pharmacy profession.  I will hold those memories forever. Gus loved his family beyond words.  Thank you Gus for touching my life. I will miss my friend. 

Twenty years ago, I worked as an Assistant Manager at Rite Aid and Gus was the Pharmacist Manager.  He was one of the kindest  men I have ever known.  Always offering assistance and guidance with a smile.  He was a friend to everyone.  I am so glad to have known him.  He truly made the world a better place.   My condolences to his family.  May he Rest In Peace. 

What a great guy—the one who took on coaching youth baseball team my son Griffin was on many years ago when the coach had to quit suddenly just before start of the season.  Years later, there he was again when his son & my son were on student senate and they  had a weekend conference. There he was chaperoning and taking a few kids in his car including my son.  So glad to have known him.  Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Had the pleasure of occasionally working with Gus a few times  as a technician and then eventually as a fellow pharmacist later on at Rite aid . He was the word “Gentelman” personified in every sense . Always humble, kind and dignified in everything he did and he treated everyone with utmost respect.  My deepest condolences and prayers with the family. Gus was a great pharmacist and a wonderful human being . The world will be little less nicer with him not being around us any longer .

    Our hearts are truly broken.  You were wonderful neighbors and the memories we have of Gus are, and always have been, special  to us.  I loved hearing how the friendship between Gino and  Alex was special to him.  When I would see Gus at Rite Aid, he would always bring up the Taylor Elementary Talent Show❤️... he truly is an Angel.  We are sending our love, prayers and Strength to Michelle, Alex, Andrew and Jacob.

I've known"Gus" for almost 15 years I worked with him at  Rite Aid. "Gus" you will missed by all of us I had great pleasure knowing you may you rested in peace.
