Gloria Denise Kovak

Beloved wife of Robert for 44 wonderful years. Loving mother of Kevin Kovak, Kelly (John) Nieckarz and Timothy (Melissa) Kovak. Cherished grandmother of Jacob Shears, Bret Kovak, Elizabeth Kovak, Luke Nieckarz and Marcus Nieckarz. Dearest sister of Randy (Janice) Schuman. Will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and her fur babies.

Gloria was baptized as a baby into the Lutheran faith and attended St. Matthew's School in Detroit where she graduated in 1976. She worked at the family-owned bike store throughout high school, where she then met her husband, Robert. The two were married October 21, 1978 in Detroit. Gloria graduated from Schoolcraft College and worked as a Registered Nurse until she retired in 2015. Her heart was always with hospice care. She loved her time spent with her family as well as making jewelry.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 3pm-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Livonia. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11am (In state at 10am) at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Livonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Gloria can be made to Hospice of Michigan.
