Gregory Robert Marshall passed away suddenly on February 18th, 2022, at 71. He is survived by his wife and partner of 41 years, Catherine Brown-Marshall, and his children, Elizabeth and John (Jack) Marshall. He was the eldest of three children born to Betty and Robert Marshall, brother to Tracey Banks (Brad Banks) and Kimberly DiGennaro (Peter DiGennaro).
Gregory was born in Covington, Kentucky, on Christmas Day 1950. It was fitting that he was born on a holiday meant for gathering with loved ones, sharing a good meal, enjoying a joke or two, and giving gifts. That was how he spent his 71 years on Earth; loved by his family, bringing joy to his friends, witty to a fault, a great cook (lots of butter and salt), and always giving gifts.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the spring. All who knew him may join in celebrating his life and honoring his memory. We ask that you have your favorite Frank Sinatra song on standby (Cole Porter substitutes will be allowed).
