

He was born August 31, 1934 in Detroit Michigan and resided in Taylor Michigan. He married Pamela Marie Gieske on September 2, 1961 in Dearborn Michigan and resided in Redford, MI while raising his family. After 37 years working at Ford Motor Company, he retired with Pam in 1994 and moved to Higgins Lake, MI. Gus was a proud Sergeant in the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Pam, 3 sons, Brian, Todd (Sue) & Bradley (Amy), 3 daughters, Suzanne (Tom), Stacey (John), & Stephanie (Joe); 9 grandchildren; Leah, Brittany, Alexandria, Stephen, Amber, Scott, Olivia, Jordyn & Paige.
his sister Linda (Tom) Lezotte, and his favorite dog Buddy.
Gus enjoyed golfing, boating, listening to Frank Sinatra and watching all sports, he was an avid Detroit Lions fan. Gus was proud of all of his children but especially fathering quadruplets who were conceived with no medical intervention. He was active as a coach and manager for his children's sports teams as they were growing up.

Gus will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Chelsea, Michigan with a private ceremony.
