Harold "Hal" L. Rathburn, age 79, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Loving husband of 53 years to Kathy. Beloved father of Eric. Proud grandfather of Graham, Nora, and Lincoln. Cherished brother of Larry and Rita Rathburn, and Goldie McIntosh. Dear brother-in-law of Velma Feasel.
Harold was preceded in passing by his parents, Kenneth and Dimple, and siblings Donna, Fred, Paul, and Irma.
Hal was born in Ludington, Michigan. He graduated from Custer High School, class of 1963. He worked at Star Watch Case Co. ahead of serving his country in the Army from 1965-1967 out of Fort Carson, Colorado, where he played tuba in the band. Upon his return home, he began a 39-year career at Ford Motor Company. Hal and Kathy were married on August 14, 1971. Harold enjoyed classic cars and was the proud owner of a Ford Mustang.
