Uncle Harry was Mike’s Godfather and a wonderful dynamic one at that! I think his love of motorcycles and cars rubbed off on Mike at baptism too! I remember him as one heck of a polka dancer. In my youth, at the many family weddings, I don’t think I was allowed to sit one out between him and Ted. And although I was exhausted, they could go on forever! He will always be remembered with love.

During the last 30 years, Harry has been a wonderful friend and neighbor. More times than I can count, my husband, Enver, and I turned to Harry for help whether I locked myself out of the house or some other difficulty arose - he was always cheerfully available to help.
Harry knew everyone in the subdivision, participated in every gathering and interacted with all of us as he took his daily bike ride. He will be greatly missed.❤️❤️

We were very saddened to hear that Harry would no longer be riding his bike up our Driveway with that great big smile of his... Harry rode up our driveway when we first moved into the neighborhood to introduce himself, and he became an inspiration to me as our friendship grew. My Wife CarolAnn, received Pairs from his tree in the yard, and she made a delicious Pear Pie! Recently a homemade Apple pie was made for Harry ,and Harry said “that he and Bobbie enjoyed it very much. “ We were blessed to have him as a part of our life. He will surely be missed by many... our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Harry was a great neighbor in Livonia and also our neighbor on Long Lake. We've yet to meet a nicer guy, who always had a smile on his face, We will miss seeing him around the neighborhood. He had the most positive outlook on life, and lived life to it's fullest. Rest in Peace, Harry. Barb, Pete & Allison Bauman

Harry’s family and my family were neighbors at the cottage at long Lake Michigan for over 50 years. During that time we became great friends. He was always ready to help me with any project that I had, and he helped me with a lot of them, I learned a great deal from him. He had a wonderful smile and I always looked forward to the summers when he would come up to the lake and always had home grown tomatoes from his Livonia garden. Such a great guy,,,I truly lost a great friend!

Harry was our next door neighbor for over 20 years. Never heard him say a negative thing. Arguably the most positive person that I have ever been around. Nothing quite like watching your 80+ year old neighbor ride by on his bicycle or driving his motorcycle with no helmet and silver hair flapping in the wind. He was one of kind. It took him a while but he taught me how to be a neighbor.

A devastating loss.
