Dearest Kaisner family… so many special memories we have that we hold dear in our hearts!

Your Dad was a man that displayed unconditional love, passion for telling others about Jesus and sharing joy and exuberance for life!  His legacy of reading the Word, miles of prayers, carpentry skills blessing so many,  and proclaiming the gospel are some of the things that made him so special and that we will remember lifelong.

I was looking through the photos and thinking of my dad. Hartzel was always special to him and he would comment about how they were the same age for a few weeks every year.

I have no doubt that my love for creating & crafting came from Grandpa Kaisner. Memories of him in his workshop still inspire me, as I saw the skill, time, and dedication he put into his woodwork.

The joy he found in creating lived on, even after a project was complete. His eyes would light up when asked about something he made, and he would jump out of his chair to show you more if he realized he’d captured your attention! This was never done from a place of pride, but pure excitement and passion for his craft.

I hope to carry on this same joy & passion in my work. The things he made will forever be cherished.

So sorry for your loss! I remember when our Sunday School class visited Detroit about 1981? Joanne and I would be about the same age. Hartzell had a beautiful sermon that was the seed that began my conversion process. Love, blessings and prayers as you mourn and rejoice at the passing of your loved one!

Grandpa was such a great and steady presence in my life. He inspired me to be better and appreciate all that you have in life. He was a great man and an even better grandfather. He could always light up a room with his stories or his humorous spirit. I miss him dearly. Grandpa, I love you very much and miss you so much! 


I Remember the many blessings spent with him and his Christian, he was a great member and a great minter! Love,Sis Jackie My prayers are with the family and grandchildren!! 

Hartzel will long be remembered for his kind smile and the effort he made to say hello to everyone at church.  

Hartzel was a talented carpenter.  One Saturday I dropped off some items at church to discover Hartzel on a tall ladder mounting a beautiful wood starburst he crafted.  He left a lovely legacy and touched many souls.  

A few phrases come to mind that we often hear when trying to describe someone's significant impact on a church: "pillar," "prayer warrior," "faithful servant" - all were personified by Hartzell.  The joy with which he served - in church, in charity work, in the yard, in his workshop - was a tremendous example to me.  I loved him, and I admired him.  Praise God that he can now walk the miles of Heaven, smiling and praying with every step.
