Irma Jean Hoskins, 88, of Livonia, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Irma was born to Oscar J. and Louise B. Hall on March 23, 1932 in Pekin, Illinois, the first born of their two daughters. Irma’s family moved to Detroit where she completed her education. She met William Hoskins when he came to visit his aunt and uncle, who lived across the street from the Hall family. She married Bill in July 1950. Together they had two sons and a daughter that they raised in Livonia. Both Irma and Bill were very involved in their church: Hosanna Tabor Lutheran Church in Redford. They enjoyed pinochle with their church friends, and Irma was a devout Detroit Tigers fan. Brittany Spaniels were a pride and joy and part of the family. It started with Champ being the first in the 1950s to Ginger, the champion show dog in the early 2000s, with so many others in between.
