James A. H. Badeen
September 17, 2020
I did not know and found out until yesterday. I am sorry to hear that and my sincere condolences to his wife Linda, his son Kevin, his daughter Dana, to his sister Freda, to his brother George and to his mother Louise. The last time I saw him prior moving to Detroit Michigan from Beaumont. He tried to help me to push and pursue the development of my Engineering Consulting Firm Pyramid Engineers & Designers, Inc. I have missed him since he left, but recently I had a dream of him and his late Dad Father Badeen .
I think they are still alive not dead. In my dream I found my self in a large clean room with pleasant peaceful that I do not recognize. I was sitting at long table, his daughter sitting next to me to the left and Father Badeen walked in and sat at the head of the table, I was surprised to see him And I burst out Loud Father Badeen. He smiled but did not talk, then to my right James Badeen stood at my right padding me on the shoulder with his daughter and was very happy. I wanted to call him every day but I did not do it until I was informed yesterday by Mr. James Callas. I had disagreement with them about the war of Iraq, I was against the war but they were for it to kill Sadam. I do not know the message in my dream, are they agreeing with me that I was right? I was born in Iraq and Father Badeen was born in Syria. Look what happened to both countries. Mr. Callas suggested to light candles for them. I found out has to be by appointment only. My prayers for them and all of the family. Any of the family that's need any help from me , please call me 832-282-5005 or 409-835-1900. May GOD bless them in heaven always. May GOD bless us ALL.

Jim was a friend from college. There was a small group of us from the EMU ROTC Department that were close at the time. He was a true gentleman. Intelligent, dedicated and the nicest person you could ever meet. My heartfelt condolences to Linda and the rest of Jim's family.

James (Jimmy) and his brother George were such active members in our Troop "Lucky" 13. The Troop was young then and Cousin Gary Baine "Doc Baine" was the Scoutmaster. It was an amazing time and the Troop was so much stronger because of the Badeen Brothers. We some great times at Camp Urland, Dean's Place, and at our Scout Hut in Ida Reed Park. On one Camp Jimmy and his brother did a skit about El Cid....some about El Cid breath smelled like an Iguana, the crowd was overcome with laughter. I will also remember him and the fine young man he was. "My The Great Scoutmaster of All Good Scouts Be With Us Until We Meet Again"

A million small memories but one salient emotion - Jimmy was always with us and now he is not going to be. And we will miss him.
He brought cheer, fun, conversation, and light with him into every room he entered. He was a kind man, never hesitating to help when asked. He was also a serious man, a researcher, a man of quiet faith underneath all that bravado. Now he is in a place of sweet repose, and his suffering, sickness and sighing have fled away. May his memory be eternal. Sing now with the angels, Jim. Love, Riad and Dianne
