I have such fun memories of JB and the Walker family and friends.  Walker Hydrolic Tool was my first COOP job.  The family and friends are alot of fun. One of the men I love and admire most is gone. My grandpa lived a full life and I am fortunate to have so many great memories with him and loved the stories I got to hear about my dad, uncles, aunts and his military adventures. My favorite was the story he would tell me of he and grandma coming to Germany to pick me up when I was just 2 years old and bring me back the USA. I loved my summer visits swimming in their pool, playing with their dog Shep and catching fireflies. He took me to Canada when I was 19 so I could gamble with him and Grandma in the casino.  He and Grandma came out to visit me in California when I was young and when he was 84 they traveled out to my wedding. That was such a special day and I am forever grateful that they were there to share it with me. I'm so grateful and proud to be a part of this family. Love and hugs to all my cousins, aunts, uncles, to my dad and especially to my grandmother who is so strong and beautiful but who lost her soul mate.

Dear Jo, Ray and Laura,so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He will certainly be missed by family and friends. Every time I think of Jim I think of my Mom ( who lived to 95 years ) and how she teased the two of you for having 12 children. So Jo I hope when the two of them meet in the hereafter, that Jim has his hat for protection. Thank God for all the good and funny memories we have. My prayers go out to you and all your family. A very special thank you to Harry J. Will Funeral Home, St. Edith's Church and the American Legion Hall for an outstanding job on an incredible ending to a life well lived.  My father was an amazing man; full of life, love and laughter.  Time spent with him was always filled with a good story and much laughter.  I miss him terribly and find comfort in knowing he is with Denise and David enjoying another good story and cooking up schemes to provide entertainment for all the other angels.
I love you Daddy.  Thanks for providing me with a truly wonderful upbringing.

To you my family I share the story from the eyes of Ray.  We all have memories of joy, sad and hurt.  My is of hope.  The hope that I can give the joy as dad has given all of us.  Some of our stories are deep and hard to express as my will be also but that part of the story my brothers and sisters is the ending story only to share with you face-to-face when you are ready. (Just ask) We will all miss dad very much and know that he is always around saying take care of mom, because as long as she has you her love and strength for life will always be there.  And what Happen in Heaven stay's in Heaven.  As Mom calls me my Ray-Ray and the rest of my family Ray I call myself the family Ray of Sunshine to give us and myself the joy of life. So Dad when we meet again, and sorry I won't want that anytime soon and most important with Mom what Happen in Life stay's in Life.

One of my fondest memories of my Grandpa was when we would come to Detroit he would always want to take us to Greek Town. We would ride all over the area having him tell us stories about the buildings and "adventures" he had in Greek Town. I remember that always going to Greek Town was probably not what I wanted to do EVERY time we came to town but I would never give up that time in the car with my Grandpa listening to him tell stories. He always made me feel so special and loved. I always knew that what ever twists and turns my life took he would always be there with a hug, a laugh and a new story that I hadn't heard yet.

Jo Gerry and I will keep you and Jim in our prayers. This a difficult time for you, but remember you had a long life with Jim and so many good memories to look back on.

Thank you to everyone for your support, our family was truly blessed to have such a Great Dad. There is only one time I recall him mad. He was trying to discipline my sister Denise & I after a little "joyride" with some of the "others". We decided to join some of my brothers during the night and climbed out our bedroom window to join them "pool hopping" in our neighborhood. Well JB caught us, brought us back home and said: "Well, if God didn't make little green apples" and Denise & I (feeling particularly brave) chimed in "and it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime". He did start laughing, eventually. Love You Dad.
