Dear Joe and Angela,
It’s been years since I’ve seen all of you . My dad has been keeping me up on all that has been going on. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife and mom. She was such a sweet lady and I remember her kindness . I will keep you all in my prayers. May God give you strength during these difficult times ahead.
God Bless

One of our fun times with Janice, who was caring, kind and beautiful person inside and out. We will miss laughing with you, Janice! A wonderful soul has left, but her shining light will always be with us. From the Alpha and Strumbos families, our deepest condolences to the Newsome family.

I worked for Washers Inc / Alpha USA since 1976, I retired in 2012, Janice was the go to person if you had an insurance issue. She was a smart human resources manager. Janice was always involved in all Alphas events, and Livonias civic organizations...Passport to safety , the Jaycees, chamber of commerce., and more. She will be missed.

I will forever remember all the block parties that Janice would co-ordinate and our band would play at. She was a wonderful person who helped many. I will miss her wonderful ways and send prayers to her family. It’s hard to believe she’s gone.

I have many memories of Janice but my favorites will always be of the many spectacular Christmas parties we planned for Washers/Alpha over the years. We used to have the best time putting them together and trying to find ways of improving them every year (while remaining in the budget - per Nick Strumbos, as long as it was less than $1,000,000, he was fine with it). We'd spend ten months putting them together and suddenly they would be over. It would be the new year and we'd start all over trying to decide how to make the next one better. Hopefully a good time was had by all. I know we had a great time together putting them on. Janice was one of a kind and will be missed.

I always loved hearing Janice tell stories about her grandkids, and the colorful way she did their voices. She was a good person to hug, we were almost the same height, but I was a hair taller. I loved her Italian spunk; it was a good match for mine.

I have many great memories of Janice from St. Monica's. She was a lovely person (and she had the best birthday parties!). My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
