Jennie Lucente Jenio

She was the beloved wife of Frank for 70 years. Loving mother of Frank Jr. (Patricia), Clara (Steve) DeMay, Sam (Linda), Joseph (Lori) and Louie (Kandy). Dear grandma of Frank Edward (Sherri) Jenio, Garrett (Susan) Jenio, Jennifer (Andrew) DeMay-Devenish, Todd DeMay, Lisa (Jon) Jenio-Drabik, Sam Jr. (Katie) Jenio, Geneva Jenio, Alyssa Jenio, Abby Jenio, Kendall Jenio, Jade Jenio, Marcella Jenio and Giovani Jenio. Proud great-grandma of Brittany, Emma, Frank Zachary, Jackson, Brooks, Sofia & Siena Jenio, Collin & Stuart Devenish, Laurel, Isabella & Brayden DeMay, and Anna & Jack Drabik. Survived by her siblings, Joe, Rose, Rebecca & David Lucente.

-Thoughts from Jennie's son, Sam..."Mom was a wonderful, kind, generous woman. She always loved to be around her family and just beamed when we would visit. After less than 30 minutes, we always ended up at the kitchen table . Somehow she would magically come up with some of our favorites and she would keep bringing food to the table until we were out of room. Before we could say No, we were eating. Coffee and dessert always followed . She kept an inventory of cookies, small chocolate cakes ( Little Debbies ), and nearly always had cherry jello with bananas pre-made. We always marvelled at her ability to create something out of nothing at a moment's notice.

If we told her in advance that we were going to join her and my Dad for dinner, she insisted on making our favorite- from spaghetti and meat balls to oven baked roast beef to steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. Cooking was her way of showing her love for everyone, and she was the best. Fortunately for all the kids, she passed it on to our sister Clara who ranks right up there with Mom".

The family will receive friends for a Visitation on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 2-8pm and again on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 10-11am at:

The Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 also at The Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Livonia Chapel.

The Funeral Service will be led by Pastor William J. Farina of Bethel Christian Church in Warren, Michigan.

Jennie will be laid to rest in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan
