Just received the sad news of our beautiful friend and neighbor's passing. We were born a few miles apart in London, and somehow finished up on the same street in Redford. A true blessing.

It was a pleasure to know Joan. She always made the room a bit smarter when she was in it. We will miss her.

Beloved friend for 60+ years, our families blended so well. We have wonderful memories of you Joan but I like the one where we would take the kids to Lola Valley to swim in the cement fountain. Then there was the time we bought those fur stoles ... or left all the kids with Nick and Dud so we could go shopping. I will miss you my dear friend. Rest in Peace, I'll see you in Heaven.
Love You, Fran and family
