Joan was the loving wife of the late Dale. Cherished mother of Bruce (Linda), Gary (Zita), Tom, Lesley (Jim) Page and Karilyn (Andy) Lytle. Proud grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 8. Also survived by dear brother Rev. Thomas (Betty) Edge.
Joan's family will receive friends on Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 5-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia. She will lie in state on Thursday August 28, 2014 from 10 am until the time of her funeral, 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 30000 Five Mile Rd. (west of Middlebelt Rd.) in Livonia.
Joan will be laid to rest next to her Dale at Glen Eden Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers the Flohr family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra or Alzheimer’s Association.
