Joann Sahl

Joann was born on May 5, 1966 to Anthony (deceased) and Rosemary Sahl. Joann was the youngest of six children, her sister Patricia Miller passed in 2017. Surviving siblings are RoseAnn (the late Casper) Yens, Anthony (Yvonne), Kenneth (Lori), and John. Joann is survived by many nieces & nephews, as well as great nieces & nephews. She also leaves behind her lifelong friend, Shelly.

Joann lived a full life, always happy and laughing. Things she enjoyed very much were watching the Detroit Red Wings games, Detroit Tiger games, Detroit Lions games (kinda) and Michigan Football. Playing video games, her favorite was PAC Man. She loved the outdoors, sitting next to a nice campfire was her favorite thing. She loved listening to music, rock n roll as well as country and enjoyed watching music videos. She was an avid fan of watching reality tv shows as well. Scary movies were her movies of choice. She also loved playing cards with family and friends. Her drink of choice was Mountain Dew and we're pretty sure she was their best customer of all time. Joann also leaves behind her furry friend Chase, who always laid with her and would run to her for protection when he would get in trouble. Joann sadly passed on October 30, 2020 after a long battle with ALS.

A visitation for Joann will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral in state will occur Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 11:30 AM at St Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, Michigan 48150 with a mass of christian burial at 12:00 PM. Joann will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 1900 Ten Mile Rd., Southfield, Michigan.
