John was an awesome mentor when I first began my building career. I had met John at Ford Motor company when he shared his dream to build a new home. We began a discussion about my dream of starting a construction company and together we helped each other achieve a dream together.

Truly enjoyed working with and for John. He knew the true value that construction and facilities meant to the successes of FoMoCo.

John was a fine gentleman , good friend, colleague and mentor for more than forty years. When he was at Ford we traveled together to Europe, Asia and the Far East where his knowledge and experience was highly respected. Always observant of people and places his quick witted rejoinders made being in his company a real pleasure. I will miss him.

Hello to the Casey Family ,
My name is PETE Russell , I first met John in 1977 at Ford. I was a supplier to Ford for many years and became very good friends with both John & Fran. My wife and I had many delightful times with your parents over the years. John and I played in the Piper Tournament many years together. In 1986 we won our flight , we we’re both so excited, it was unbelievable. I’ve included a picture of us with Pat Croswell at the closing ceremony. Fran was the most wonderful lady , she and Janet had many great times together even after John retired. We have many of John’s paintings .
I’m sorry I cannot be at the service , but please let me know if you have a celebration of John’s life in the future. Sincerely, Pete & Janet

I have very fond memories of John from over 23 years ago when he helped me run the Ford retiree phone-a-thon for University of Detroit Mercy. John just had a positive, upbeat way about him, and an obvious love of life, which was evident in the stories he shared with me about his wonderful family, and his travels with his wife,

I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but am glad that his family had the joy of his presence in their lives for so long. I was lucky to have known him.
