I didn't know John was Delores I knew better. But the way she spoke OF him, and the way HE looked at her: their Love was palpable ! FULL of Love & Respect. They adored each other...and it was an honor just to witness that.

So even tho he won't physically be with Delores...I know his Spirit will ALWAYS be with her, helping her...especially during the difficult times. (I wish I could have added the 'heart emoji' several times, through-out this little message for Delores & John)
= ) = )

A truly loving & caring man. The last thing he sent me was wishing me a Happy Birthday on Facebook. He helped me in my lowest & darkest times by all the inspiring quotes, comments, & words he sent me. I knew him for so long, although the times with eachother were brief. He will always hold a special place in my heart. There is a gap in all of our hearts. God rest his soul.

John is very dear to my heart. We worked together when he was Board President at Unity
Of Royal Oak and he was a part of the Course In Miracles. We had some great laughs together when going out to lunch on Wednesday afternoons. I will miss his humor and his writings. He was greatly loved not only by me but as well by his friends at Unity of Royal Osk. Rest In Peace my friend. You are home .

Delores, Oscar and I are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. It is never easy losing someone, but it is harder now due to Covid and all the restrictions. We will always remember John for being a beacon of good and of kindness. His positive outlook helped many of us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to know him.

John was such a gentle man whose light always lit up a room. He was a true example of love and life in expression. He and Alden loved sharing stories, giving all they could to make Unity of Livonia a continued place to grow spiritually with their cherished friends and Unity family. Most of all they shared their love of golf for decades... oh how they loved to share their golf memories. John you will be missed in the hearts of so many and remembered always for your beautiful heart. Wish I could be there today to hug you Delores but you will remain in my prayers and I will save that hug till we meet again. Sending love to you and your family.

Uncle John had many gifts. Although our time with him was brief, we are truly blessed that we got to know him at all.
I will always be greatful for his warm, soothing words of wizdom he would share with our anxious son when confronting stressful situations. Not only did he help our son, but it helped us as well. Thank you, Uncle John. You will be missed but at least it's comforting to know you'll be at the right hand of your creator.

To my Papa Hootie: I will cherish and miss all the amazing conversations we’ve had. I will keep your words of inspiration, advice, positivity and love close to my heart. I know we can’t have have our zoom meeting, talking about books and drinking coffee but I know you’ll be here in spirit. I love you dearly and will be sure to let your grandchildren know what an amazing father and grandfather you were. My eyes are filled with tears and my heart with sadness but I know you’re with our father in heaven looking down on all of us. Here is a picture with you and baby John, one of my favorites. Xoxo love always Sarah Lynnea

John was such a good and kind soul. He remembered everyone’s names, and truly cared when he was asking after them. That is a rare and special quality. We wish him peace and rest with God
