He is survived by his daughter Hannah, brother Isa (Debra), nephews Ghattas (Bethany), Adam (Kristi), Kyle (Joyce), and niece Susie (Cole). He is also survived by many cousins. John was preceded in death by his parents Ghattas and Suad, and his brothers Michael and Pete.
Funeral In State will be held at Basilica of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 18100 Merriman Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am.
