Komos, Joseph E. of Livonia, Mi. retired Sr. Capt. Of the Livonia Fire Dept. and World War II Veteran (Navy) died peacefully on Sept. 3, 2013. Survived by his wife Lillian, children; Don (Linda), Joe, Laura Bilotta and John (Eve), grandchildren; Stephen, Jasmine, Jack and Leah.
Joe enjoyed golfing, hunting, traveling, camping, watching the Detroit Tigers, playing pool, cooking, BBQ, playing his harmonica and button box, dancing, repairing things, playing chess and most of all, spending time with his family. Joe also enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting and music events. He loved spending his winters in Sarasota, FL with his wife of 62 years. He enjoyed planning extensive camping trips with his family.
