Joseph G. Wash

Joseph George Wash was born in West Virginia on September 11, 1915 to John and Theresa Wash, he was one of 11 children. He passed away peacefully in Livonia, Michigan under the gentle care of Angela Hospice on February 8, 2013 at the age of 97.

He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy for 34 years until her death in March 1982. Loving father of Terry (Jim) Viazanko and Joe (Lisa) Wash. Dear grandpa of Andrea (Mayur) Vansadia and Joe Wash.

Joseph was a proud WWII Army Veteran and later worked in Personnel Industrial Relations for Ford Motor Company until he retired.

The family will receive friends for a Visitation on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 4-9 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile, Livonia, MI 48152. (Just east of I-275 and Newburgh roads)

The Funeral Mass, with Military Honors presented by the United States Army Funeral Honors Team, will be on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, in state 10:00 am until 10:30 am Mass at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152 (just north of 6 Mile). Luncheon to immediately follow Mass.

Joseph will be laid to rest next to his wife in St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan
