Joyce M. Jackson

Joyce M. Jackson was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 29, 1953 to her parents: Donald and Helen Wilson. Joyce passed away on November 3, 2021 at age 68. Beloved wife of Gary Jackson for 40 years. Loving mother of Carlos, Brandon (Tina), Kristina and Matthew. Cherished grandma of Kayla Young. Dear sister Lynne Purcell and the late Pam Kuczewski. Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her boys (fur babies), Barney and Hootie.

Joyce worked at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia since May of 1991 for 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their Florida home in Fort Meyers. She spent most of her time soaking up the sun on the beach. She loved going and working out with her daughter at orange theory or going out to eat with family and friends. In her free time she enjoyed watching Judge Judy.

Joyce loved all animals but especially feeding all the wild life by her home in Livonia, she never let the animals around her go hungry! She fed the birds, squirrels, skunks, raccoons and the list goes on. Joyce also regularly donated to many wildlife foundations. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Harry J Will Funeral Home.
