25 years ago my brother Valentino and I were students of Judith Prodin at St. Damien catholic school. She was a kind soul who was always trying to make people better while spreading the importance of having christ in our lives. She taught with toughness and love. 20 years after we left St. Damien Mrs. Prodin came unannounced to visit my brother and I at our family business. We sat, talked, reminisced, and shared stories while we laughed and enjoyed each others company over coffee.  Life is so precious and Judith is in our thoughts and prayers.  She will be greatly missed but always remembered. 

Judy served as President of the Golf Ridge Villa Homes Association for many years.  We thank her again for all those years of faithful service.   My wife, and I met Judy about 5 years ago.  She walked the neighborhood checking the landscapes, talking with neighbors, and offering help.  She loved her home and flower beds.

God loves those who have a caring heart and a good spirit...she is probably trying to bake some cookies forHim right now.  What a precious soul...

What a sweet lady. I taught at St. Damian school with Judy. She was always so caring to her students and her fellow faculty members. I am sure she will be greatly missed. 

I had Mrs.Prodin for 8th grade at St. Damian 1988-89.  I remember being scared to have her as a teacher because I had heard her to be very strict.  But what I came to know after having for a teacher was that she cared so much for her students and she knew we needed boundaries.  Her  standards for us were set high so we could see beyond and strive to become better students than we saw ourselves.  She pushed me hard to learn because of the potential she saw in me.   She was one of the best and most memorable teachers I’ve ever had.  My deepest condolences to the family.    I am grateful for Mrs.Prodin’sinfluence in my life.  I hope that you have comfort in knowing she blessed so many people.  Thank you for sharing her with us!  

Mrs. Prodin was my teacher at St. Damian for my 5th, 6th ,7th, and 8th grade years.  I would often come back to see her when I was in High School just to update her on my life at the time.  I ended up going to Adrian College to become a teacher because of her.  I wanted to help students be the best they can be because that is exactly what Mrs. Prodin did for me.  I feel that I am the teacher that I am today due to her.  I was able to connect with her at lunch right after her husband had passes away.  We shared many fond memories, had a few laughs, even cried a couple of times.  You will truly be missed.  

Hands down, she was the best teacher I ever had. She counseled me through my most awkward year. She had a true passion for teaching, and empathy for the human spirit. I never had the opportunity to thank her, but hopefully this will do some justice in her memory.
