What a loving and lovely lady!!!  Julie taught our daughter, Michelle, piano lessons, here in our Novi neighborhood.  I always left there with a smile.  Her words and encouragement were always positive and gentle, just what we all needed.  I last saw Julie at Busch's not too long ago.  I was so happy to talk with her, as it had been so long.  Our family has Julie and your family in our prayers...ever with a smile and feeling blessed to have known her.

I have such fond memories of your family when we lived across the street. Juli had a great sense of humor and I can still hear her laugh. I always remember her advice for babies that cried during the night and my sons have used it on their kids. (3 nights of letting them cry and it's over). She was a great cook and I just made her receipe for creamy chicken soup. I'm sorry I was not able to come to the funeral as we are out of town. You are in my prayers.

We are stunned to learn of Julie's passing, we just saw you 3 weeks ago, she was so full of joy telling us about Jonah and Sarah, how happy she was that they now lived so close. I need to take comfort that Mark Radeke was at the pearly gates to welcome Julie!!:). Seriously I find it hard to believe that she was 39!:).  I will always remember her flute at the Sunday 7pm Masses at Saint John's!

Julie was my cousin and one of my best friends as we grew up. I'll always cherish those memories. Terry, Matt, Sarah and Jonah, my heart goes out to you. I'm so very happy that she shared her last years with her Jonah. His joy and smiles are her heritage to you.

Julie and I were classmates at Redford HS. She was always one of the most fun and likable people and I was very happy to renew our friendship through our recent class reunions. So glad we got back in touch with the Gahman family these past couple of years.  We are still shocked and saddened by this news.  We will miss Mrs. G immensely.  I have so many good memories of being at the Gahman house from my childhood:  piano lessons, guinea pig races up the basement stairs, dressing up cabbage patch kids with clothes sewn by Julie, Matt in his bedroom playing ACDC or some other really loud 80's rock music I'm not sure what.... Dear Terry, Matt, Sarah and Jonah...words cannot adequately express my sorrow at hearing about Julie's passing.  I shall remember her for her love, compassion and genuine care for everyone she met...but mostly for her intelligent sense of humor and keen wit...she made me laugh...especially at times when I needed it most...it was a lucky day when I hired her for the theatre's costume department and she and Marilee were quite a team. Loving her comments on Face Book, I shall miss her presence in my life and look forward to seeing her in the next.

Julie was a beautiful lady in every way. Enjoyed having dinner with her when she visited the U.P. and am so happy she attended a few Prusi gatherings. My condolences to Terry, Sarah, Matthew and the rest of Julie's immediate family as well as to Kathryn and her family. Many prayers and much love to you all.

We made a lot of music together over the years, I always appreciated her compassion and sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers are with you Terry, Matt, Sarah, and Jonah.
