June Melaragni

June Marie Melaragni was born in Mohawk, Michigan on January 12, 1918 to her parents Jacob and Margaret (Terrien) Cronenworth. After high school, she moved to Lansing and worked at the State Capitol Building in the Department of Motor Vehicles. She later settled in the Detroit area, where she would live the rest of her life with her family.

June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Anthony Melaragni as well as her parents Jacob and Margaret Cronenworth. She was also preceded in death by her brothers William and Charlie and her sisters Ruthie, Doris and Laverne. She is survived by her two children Anthony Melaragni, Jr. and Mary (David) Johnson. She is the devoted grandmother to Christina and Scott Johnson.

June will be remembered for her great love for her family and caring for her husband and son. She cherished more than anything the time spent with her family. She also enjoyed attending church at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Redford.

Friends may visit June's family at the funeral home during the visitation in her honor on Thursday April 26, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. She will be in state on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. until her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church at 27101 West Chicago in Redford, Michigan 48239.

June will be laid to rest with Anthony at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
