Karen went home to be with the Lord on January 24th after battling MS for 25 years. She is the precious wife of Chris for 25 years and loving mother of Matthew and Andrew. She is the beloved daughter of Carol and the late Larry Kalis. Karen is also survived by her brother Kevin (Teresa) Kalis and her sister Nancy (Dave) Reinhold. She is also the loving Aunt of Christopher Kalis, Alison Reinhold and Madison Reinhold. She is the daughter-in-law of Ernie and Charlotte Benyo and sister-in-law of Tracey (Kevin) Bullock. She is also the wonderful Aunt of Emily, Amanda, Alex, and Sarah Bullock.
Karen was extremely proud of her 2 sons. She loved to support and attend their hockey games and drama/musical events. She enjoyed traveling with her family on their annual trip to Florida. Karen loved to watch the Tigers, Red Wings, Game Shows and Murder Mysteries on TV with her husband. She would always go to sleep listening to scripture readings and Bible studies. Most of all Karen cherished being around family and friends during special occasions.
