Karon L. Mocur

Loving wife of Charles Trueblood. Dear stepmother of Mike (Brooke) Trueblood, Matt (Michelle) Trueblood, Mark Trueblood, and Megan Trueblood. Step-grandmother of Ethan, Jillian, Ayden, Julianna, Bella, and Lorelei. Beloved sister of Sharon (Greg) Rouse, Marilyn (Nelson) Maldonado, and Paul (Sylvia) Mocur. Cherished aunt of William (Lauren), Marissa, Paul, and Lauren. Great aunt of Franklin. Karon was preceded in death by loving parents Frank and Jennie.

Karon spent over 30 years at Metro Medical where she worked in accounts receivable and Medicare rejections. She also held a real estate license. She was known for her love of music, and she attended many outdoor concerts. She also enjoyed nature and canoeing. She had a passion for fashion, especially shoes. Her and Chuck enjoyed spending time up north in Roscommon, Michigan, where they shared a second home. She devoted her time and energy volunteering for various organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Vista Maria, and ChristNet. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial gathering for Karon will be held Saturday, January 27, from 1-5pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152, followed by a service beginning at 5pm.
