

Keith D. Kerutis, 64, of Clay Township, passed away suddenly on July 3, 2021. Keith was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 21, 1957 to Donald and Delphine "Dolly" Kerutis. As a youth Keith played baseball, delivered the Detroit Free Press, went to St. Andrew Catholic School & Church, and was an altar server there as well. He graduated in 1975 from St. Andrew Catholic High School, after which he entered the U.S. Navy. Upon discharge from the Navy in 1978, he began his career at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, which continued for the next 43 years with perfect attendance. Outside of work, Keith enjoyed hunting bear, deer, duck, and fishing. Hobbies for Keith included attending all of his granddaughters softball games and tournaments, as well as spending time with his dog, Slugger. He taught his grandchildren how to drive power wheel cars, minibikes, lawn tractor, ATV, go-kart, right up to driving a car.
Keith is survived by his wife, Brenda; parents, Donald & Delphine "Dolly"; brothers, Mark Kerutis, Brian (Sherry) Kerutis, Dean (Jyll) Kerutis; sisters, Jacquelyn (John) Kuhn, Denise Swann, Susan (Michael), and Donna Spehar; step-children, Allan (Amanda) Behrendt, Christopher Behrendt; grandchildren, Jacob Cieleski, Breanna Behrendt, Alyssa Behrendt, Taylor Behrendt, Christopher "C.J." Behrendt, Cecelia Behrendt; great-grandson, Gabriel Cieleski; and brother-in-law, Troy. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Keith will also be missed by his devoted dog, Slugger.
Family and friends may visit on Friday - July 9, 2021 from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 West Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, and on Saturday - July 10, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. When visiting, the family request casual attire in the manner in which Keith dressed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Keith may be made to his family, payable to Brenda Kerutis.
