Ryan, Tracy, Ava, Wyatt and Kellen,
You have all touched the lives of many, that watched the love, strength, courage, faith and continued smiles during such difficult times in your lives.  I will cherish all the sweet notes, pictures and memories of times spent with Kellen.  He holds a special place in my heart, as well as all of you.  Till we meet again, sweet, sweet Kellen.

I really don't know what to say except I am truly devastated by Kellen's passing.  From the first post four years ago something deep inside connected me to that little angel and I prayed for him every day.  I know your hearts are broken and sometimes it's hard to catch your breath.  I don't have any answers to ease you hearts, but I know that Kellen is with Jesus.  I know so many people that Kellen touched and everyone I know sends prayers and love to all of you.  I will never forget Kellen.    

My love and anything else you may need are yours.



Praying that love and peace will surround your family.   We will never forget Kellens sweet smile and his brave spirit!  He was an inspiration to us all, young and old, he taught us dignity.  He touched so many lives in his 6 years, and made us all better people for knowing him.  His beautiful smile will always shine in our hearts as it is now shining in heaven! With love.......

I will always remember how happy you were and how your smile and hugs always brightened my day.  I will remember how you made Hoover SACC an even better place and how much all the other kids adored you, they share memories of you often or mention how much you would love a certain activity.  I loved doing arts and crafts with you and seeing you make the coolest creations.  But most of all I loved hearing you laugh, seeing how much you loved life, and how much you adored your sister Ava.  Seeing you and Ava play together every day warmed my heart.  I’m so glad I got to be a part of your life and that you had the chance to experience and love SACC.  I miss you dearly and you will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I will always remember our fun adventures together. We loved to do arts and crafts, write stories together, play barbies and school and be silly together. We loved going up North to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. We liked sleeping in the cowboy room together and being silly at night. We had so much fun playing with our cousins Braeden and Lana and our friends Evie, Owen and Madeline. I am taking care of your Wooby and all your favorite stuffed animals.  Me and Mommy write about our favorite memories of you everyday. You were the best brother. You always did the things I loved over the things you wanted to do. I hope we can have more fun adventures together when I see you in Heaven.  I’ll always remember you.

Kellen was such an inspiration to several people.  He never gave up the fight and his contagious smile was uplifting.  It is amazing that a young boy would help me  get through my tough days but he did several times!! He will always be a superhero in my eyes!  I am praying for strength for your whole family during this difficult time!!  Hugggggs!


I never got to meet your sweet Kellen, but your Facebook posts and videos over the last 5 years of him and your family have been a inspiration. I was blessed to be able to share Kellens story with my two children and what a little light he brought to this world. I have prayed for Kellen since his diagnosis broke 5 years ago. He was also a inspiration to me when I went through my cervical cancer diagnosis,surgery , and recovery almost 3 years ago. You have an amazing little boy and he is your guardian angel and sweet light from HEAVEN now. Bless you all until you hold him again. He’s taken care of by a great Heavenly Father❤️❤️❤️.

I was a substitute SACC teacher at Hoover.  I had never met Kellen or Ava. What a joy they both were!  Kellen’s constant smiles brighten my afternoon.  Blessings for you and your family at this difficult time. ❤️

Kellen, I will always remember the dark parties, sleepovers (half sleepovers), the giant milkshakes, the blue ice cream in Ludington, the pool parties, pajama parties, the rode trips, and so many more of our crazy adventures. I will never forget your sweet smile and your love for life. You have taught me (and Evie, Owen and Uncle Eric too) so much in your short time here and we are forever changed because of you.  You are missed beyond measure and I will love you always. I have been blessed to be a part of your journey and to have the honor of being your "aunt."  Until we meet again sweet boy.
