Kelsey Grace Liepa passed away unexpectedly July 2, 2017 at the age of 26. Beloved daughter of Randy and Peggy; cherished sister of Erin and Christopher; loving granddaughter of David Powell, the late Mavis Powell, the late Arvids Liepa, and the late Shirley Liepa. Kelsey is also survived my many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Kelsey earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences at Michigan State University. She worked for Petkey LLC, a nationwide lost and found pet recovery database. Kelsey was known by those who loved her for her deep love and care for animals. She was also passionate about physical fitness and karate- in which she earned her black belt and eventually taught.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 7 from 3-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 8 at 9:30am (in state at 9am) at St. Aidan Catholic Church 17500 Farmington Road in Livonia.
In honor of Kelsey’s love for animals, memorials can be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
