OBITUARY

Ken Huband

August 15, 1939August 31, 2019

Ken Huband, age 80, went to be with the Lord on the early morning of Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Ken was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 15, 1939 to the late Carl and Margaret Huband. He attended Lutheran High West where he met his high school sweetheart, Barbara and married in 1961. Together they raised 3 children: Sally (Christopher) West, Michael (Teresa) Huband, and Beverly (Alan) Patterson. Ken also cherished his 6 grandchildren: Kaitlyn (German) Cardenas, Eric West, Amanda (Dustin) Campbell, Janel Huband, Ashley Patterson, and Daniel Patterson.

Ken trained at Detroit Receiving Hospital and later became the Chief X-ray Technologist at Garden City Hospital. He later created his own business, Michigan X-ray (currently in Troy, Michigan), which he proudly maintained up until his retirement. Ken was such a helpful and friendly neighbor, helping in any way he can whether bringing in/out trash cans to bringing in mail. If anyone needed any kind of help, he was there to save the day. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation for Ken will be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 2pm up until the Funeral Service which will begin at 7pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home of Livonia. He will privately be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park of Livonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church.
