L. Michael Cook

Beloved husband of Sandy for nearly 52 years. Loving father of April (Brian) Bourlier, Michelle (Jerry) Maxwell and Michael (Debbie) Cook. Dear grandfather to Grayson, Tyler, Casey, Benjamin, Jackson, Courtney and Christina. He also leaves behind his brothers C. Thomas (Jan), L. Peter (Jean), and many loving nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Mike worked at General Motors for 37 years and has been enjoying his retirement since 2002. He devoted his time to his wife, grandchildren, helping those who needed it, boats, hot rods and his favorite T.V. programs. Mike was loved by all who had the pleasure to enjoy his laugh and quick wit. He will be missed, but no longer suffering.

Mike’s family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia. His life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass Monday April 4, 2016 at 11:30 am at St. Colette Catholic Church 17600 Newburgh Rd. (north of Six Mile Rd) in Livonia. Entombment Glen Eden Cemetery.
