

Lawrence Arthur Staub was born on December 31, 1932 to the late Henry and Margaret Staub. He was one of 5 children. Lawrence passed away peacefully on June 30, 2014 in Sun City West, Arizona at the age of 81.
Beloved and Cherished husband of Dolores A Staub for 56 years, 11 months. Loving father of 5 girls and 3 boys: Lisa (Nick) Ferri, Christena Furr, Lawrence Arthur Staub II “Chip”, Jill (Rich) Geisler, Jodi Puckett, Judy (Don) Kaump, Tim (Deanna) Staub, and Robert (Ann) Staub.

Great grandfather of 18, and 1 on its way: Zanon Cooper, Jocelynn Cox, Tyler Staub, Colton Cox, Sophia Staub, Travis Staub Jr, Cheyenne Pryor, Weston Pryor, Jack Geisler, Jonas Geisler, Jack Puckett, Kaden Puckett, Montana Puckett, Raven Puckett, Trenton Puckett, Cole Puckett, Jadon Puckett, Payton Knouse and Future Baby-boy Pugh.
Brother-in-law of Virginia Staub. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses: Henry “Mac” (Beth), Charles (Ruth), Harold, and Maude Ellen (Frank).
Lawrence was a decorated United States Army Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the Livonia Elks Club since 1974. Larry was also a proud Ford Motor Company employee, who worked as Lithographer for many successful years until he happily retired.
The family will receive friends for a Visitation at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road, (just east of I-275 and Newburgh roads) Livonia, Michigan 48152, on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 5-9pm with a 7pm ceremony by the Livonia Elks Lodge of Sorrows. Visitation continues on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 1-9pm with a 7pm Rosary Service. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30am, on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at St. Theodore Catholic Church 8200 Wayne Road, Westland, Michigan 48185 (In-State 10am). Mass will be led by Father Patrick Casey.
Larry will be laid to rest with Committal Prayers and military honors by the United States Army Funeral Honors Team in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan. Luncheon to Follow at the Elks Lodge of Livonia.
