Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate my Papou's life on Monday and/or Tuesday. Also many thanks to those who gave food, floral arrangements, comforting messages, donations to the DAV, and most of all, lots of love to our family during this time. I always knew he was a well-loved man, but it was so amazing to see how many lives Leco touched during his time on Earth. Thank you all again!

Dear Cynthia and Family,
Your dad was such a nice, friendly man with such a cute smile, who lit up when asked about you, his beloved daughter. I only had the opportunity to meet with him on brief occaisions, but he treated me with such warmth and kindness. Having lost my dad last year I know there is nothing anyone can say to ease your grief. Just know that I love you, I'm here for you, I am your friend, comrade and shoulder to cry or laugh on whenever you need one.
I am so sorry my work has caused me to be away at this somber time in your life. I extend my sympathy and love to Al, as well as to your brother, sister and all who loved your dad and mourn his passing.

To the entire Vayis family... As far as my memory goes back, your entire family is there. Growing up in River Oaks was an amazing journey for all of us and so many parts of that journey included the Vayis household. Leco was a tease and even when I reached adult age I was still one of the kids with the teasing continuing. He was always filled with laughter and such love and pride for his family. I pray that all of you find peace knowing he lived a very fullfilling and love-filled life.
Paula (Wasiluk) Doan and family.
