Margaret J. Reynolds, Age 71 passed away peacefully February 18 after a courageous battle with kidney disease.

She was a breast cancer survivor and life-long resident of Lansing, until health issues resulted in her move to Novi to be closer to her sister. Margaret was a proud State of Michigan employee for over 40 years with the Treasury Department, retiring in 2010. She enjoyed watching Life Time movies, knitting and created beautiful blankets and dishcloths that she gave to family and friends. Known as Aunt Jenny, Aunt Maggie or "Princess" to family, she was an avid Precious Moments collector, and enjoyed baking cookies for family gatherings. On occasion she model for Catherine's store on Saginaw St. in Lansing. She had a twinkle in her eye every time she laughed.

She will be missed by her sister, Janet Jackson of Livonia, many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Maureen Doyle (Bob Heiob), brothers-in-law Ken Bertram and Gary Masseau (Shirley), special nephew Spencer Reynolds, State of Michigan friends, staff and patients of Fresnius Dialysis.

A celebration of her life will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to National Kidney Foundation of Michigan at www.nkfm.org
