Margo met the love of her life, Glenn Worley, on a blind date, and the two were married on September 15, 1961. Together, they built a loving family and shared a lifetime of memories. Margo devoted herself to raising their three sons, Greg, Eric, and Brian, as a stay-at-home mom before embarking on a new chapter in her life.
At the age of 41, Margo returned to school, earning her associate’s degree from Schoolcraft College. Her determination and dedication led her to a position in the Career Planning and Placement Department at the college, where she made a lasting impact. She went on to become a founding member of both the Schoolcraft College Alumni Club and the Women’s Research Center. Margo was especially proud of the work she accomplished during her years at Schoolcraft, and her contributions reflected her commitment to education, community, and helping others.
Outside of her professional life, Margo enjoyed staying active and spending time with friends and family. She loved playing golf, tennis, swimming, and gardening and treasured the many friendships she developed over the years in her golf and swimming groups. Some of her happiest memories were made during trips to the family cottage in Harrison, Michigan, where she enjoyed time away with those she loved.
Margo’s greatest joy was her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Glenn; her three sons, Greg (Trina) Worley, Eric (Lisa) Worley, and Brian (Elizabeth) Worley; and her five grandchildren, Corey, Gabrielle, Marin, Clare, and Christopher. She is also survived by her brother, George (Beth) Droege, along with many nieces and nephews.
Margo was preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Marjorie (Jones) Droege, and her brothers, Bill, Don, and Bob.
Margo will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her determination to pursue new opportunities, the pride she took in her work, and the many friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Her love and the memories she leaves behind will be cherished by all who knew her.
